Books for the Bayou
 RIF and the National PTA have created the “Books for the Bayou” program to provide new books for children in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast regions most affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. For more information or to make a donation, visit Books for the Bayou.
Read With Kids Challenge
 The Read with Kids Challenge ended May 31, 2008 with over 3 million minutes read—more than triple our goal of 1 million minutes! Thanks to all who participated.
